Last week,Variety confirmed that Cate Blanchett signed on to play the role of Maid Marian.'Nottingham' is described as Gladiator meets Robin Hood.Variety also mentioned some story details: "Russell Crowe plays Robin of Loxley in an original story that hews close to historical facts of the period.
